Saturday, April 9th at 9:00. Come join us as we clean out our closets and make some extra cash doing it! Our residents will be set up around the clubhouse and inside the clubhouse also. See you there!
IT'S GINGERBREAD PARTY TIME - SEASON'S GREETINGS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Join us for a great resident party with lots of delicious foods, treats and games for all ages. We will be Building Gingerbread Houses for the 3rd year in a row for military members away from loved ones and children's charities. The houses will already be assembled, but I Need Lots of Willing Kids & Kids at Heart to Decorate them. All kinds of treats and goodies to build individual works of art supplied. Come Saturday, December 18th from 11-2 at the clubhouse. Bring as many friends as you like (kids and adults). We always have a GREAT TIME! Can't come but want to contribute? Buy a gingerbread house kit from Wal-mart or Sams for us to assemble and decorate. All are welcome!

Saturday, October 30th in the clubhouse, pool & picnic area. Costume Party for Residents and their Dogs. Prizes for best adult costume, best kid's costume and best pet costume. Get creative and bring your appetite and friends from 11:30-2 or later depending on how long the funs lasts! We will have lots of food & drinks, and of course, lots of candy. Residents are welcome to bring something to add to our grilling and potluck goodies. Trick or Treaters are very welcome. We will have a Guitar Hero contest along with other great games. Have a great game for Playstation 2? Bring it with you to the party and add to the fun. Don't miss it!
Independence Day Celebration Saturday, July 3rd from 11:30-2:00 at the Clubhouse & Pool. Our favorite party of the year! Celebrate our great nation's independence day by joining us for hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings with cold drinks. Bring your swimsuit and a towel. Resident accompanied Guests welcome!
Spring Break Party! Saturday, April 3rd from 11-2 at the Clubhouse & Pool
Join us Saturday, April 3rd, from 11-2 for a cookout, pool party, egg hunt & volleyball. Get to know your neighbors & have a great time while Skip grills up some yummy food. We will supply food & drinks, but you are welcome to bring something, if you like. Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel. (Must be dry to come into the clubhouse.) Accompanied Guests are always welcome. See you there!
DECEMBER 12th, 2009 HOLIDAY PARTY FOR RESIDENTS FROM 11:30-3:30 & MAKING GINGERBREAD HOUSES FOR MILITARY CHARITIES.
Join us in the clubhouse for great food, fun & lots of yummy treats. We will be have a Playstation 2 and Wii with Guitar Hero and Karaoke set up for some friendly competition. Please help us decorate the Gingerbread Houses for the Military Charities. No experience is necessary and it is sooo much fun and tasty too! We will supply the simple instructions and kits. Can't stay but want to help? You may donate a gingerbread house kit for about $10 from Walmart, Jo-Ann's or most grocery stores for around $10 and drop it off at the office for others to assemble. They are delicious works of art and the Military children adore them! Please call or stop by the office if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!

AUGUST 22, 2009 11:30-2:00 COOKOUT & KARAOKE PARTY (Saturday)
Skip fired up the grill with lots of hot dogs & hamburgers with everything to go along with it. We had many very happy (and full) residents attend along with their equally happy pets hoping for someone to drop some food! The Karaoke singing was great fun for all and the pool was cool and inviting. This was a great send off for back to school the following Monday morning.
AUGUST 15, 2009 11:00-1:00 LIVE RADIO REMOTE ON Q100.7 (Saturday)
Crystal Lake is a collection point for the Gulf Coast Bear Patrol that is accepting new or gently used bears or other stuffed animals that are around 12 inches or less for the Fire Department & Law Enforcement. Children in trauma situations receive them to give them comfort and soothing when needed the most. We have already donated several boxes and will continue collecting them for the next couple of months, so please bring them to the clubhouse at your convenience. Your continued generosity is greatly appreciated.
MAY 16, 2009 8:00-2:00 GIANT RUMMAGE SALE (Saturday)
What a turnout! Within an hour and a half around 75% of our huge sale was sold out, and nearly everything was gone by the end of the day. We will definitely make this an annual event and the residents loved cleaning out their closets (and adding a few new items to them as well).
APRIL 4, 2009 10:30-1:30 EGG HUNT & GAMES PARTY (Saturday)
We had a great turnout for the egg hunt and had a great time with egg races and pin the tail on the bunny. Thank you to all who participated to make it such a fun and festive day. Lots of treats & good food and fun for all!
DECEMBER 12, 2008 4:30 - 6:30 TENANT HOLIDAY PARTY (Friday)
Thank you to all those in the community who came and shared a great time at the clubhouse on Friday, December 12th from 4:30-6:30. We had lots of treats & fun for all and everyone enjoyed the Karaoke! A special thank you to Fred, our maintenance staff member, for supplying the Karaoke equipment. (For those of you that couldn't make it, he's a really talented singer!)
DECEMBER 6, 2008 GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY 10-2 (SATURDAY)
We had a great time making gingerbread houses for the military children's charities. Thanks to the skilled instruction from Mrs. Ludwig for teaching all of us to make these individual works of art. This very special village of gingerbread houses will hopefully make these children smile for the holidays. I look forward to next year for an even better turnout.
